High School Programs

The College of Southern Nevada provides opportunities for students attending high school to enroll in classes and earn college credit at CSN.

Participation requirements vary for each program. Learn more about each High School Program offered at CSN below.

High School Programs are offered at participating high schools only.

CSN High School is a dual credit program designed to provide a smooth transition from high school to college. CSN High School provides a combination of high school and college credits through an agreement between the Clark County School District (CCSD) and the College of Southern Nevada (CSN). There is a CSN High School location on all three CSN main campuses- Henderson (South), North Las Vegas (East), and Charleston (West).

The CTE College Credit Program awards free college credit for high school classes. Eligible high school classes are a part of a CTE high school program which is generally three years of high school classes (Level 1-3). There are over 45 CTE programs offered through Nevada, which have been approved for college credit at CSN. High school students can apply as early as their junior year if they are in the third-level course.

CSN's Dual Enrollment Program is an opportunity for high school students from participating high schools to enroll in college courses at CSN. Participating high schools collaborate with CSN to align students' academic plans and provide access to college courses at a CSN campus taught by CSN faculty.

The Jumpstart Concurrent Enrollment Program partners with the Clark County School District (CCSD), charter, and private local high schools to allow freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior high school students to enroll in college-level courses for a reduced fee to "jumpstart" their college careers. Classes are held at the high school campus and are taught by high school teachers who have been certified by CSN academic departments.
